Queen Camilla has cancelled her flight back to London to care for her husband, the King, before he attends hospital next week for an enlarged prostate.
The Queen joined Charles at Birkhall, his Scottish home on the Balmoral estate, where he is under orders to rest until his surgery.
Yesterday, Camilla announced that the King is "fine" and looking forward to getting back to work after she visited the Aberdeen Art Gallery.
Camilla said: “He’s fine, thank you very much. Looking forward to getting back to work.”

On Wednesday, Buckingham Palace made a surprise announcement that Charles was diagnosed with a benign prostate condition after suffering from symptoms.
The statement said: “In common with thousands of men each year, the King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate
“His Majesty’s condition is benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure. The King’s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation.”
Charles wanted to share the news with the public to encourage men who may experience similar symptoms to get checked.

Since the release of the statement there has been a significant rise in the number of searches for the condition.
The NHS said that visits to the prostate enlargement website page increased to 16,410 compared to 1,414 the day before, which is 11 times higher.
The director of support and influencing at the charity Prostate Cancer UK, Chiara se Biase, also talked about the impact of the King’s decision to reveal the details of his condition.
Biase said: “We’re thankful to the king for sharing that he is to be treated in hospital next week for an enlarged prostate.

“Raising awareness of prostate health is very important and already we are seeing that compared to the same 24-hour period last week, the number of people completing Prostate Cancer UK’s online risk checker is up by over 97 percent.”
Cameron Walker, GB News Royal Correspondent, said: “The Queen, as we understand, it’s going to be keep calm and carry on, as are the less senior members of the Royal Family.
“As to whether the King needs counsellors of state to deputise on his behalf, my understanding is, that’s not the case.”
The Palace has not confirmed whether the King will be treated in Scotland or in London next week.
