In today’s GB News Daily Reflections, we mark Good Friday and reflect on the meaning behind it.

"On Good Friday, as we remember Jesus dying on a wooden cross. Because if he really was the Son of God, as Christians believe, there never has something so mighty and beautiful been brought so shockingly low.

"And yet Christians call today Good Friday. Why? Because we believe his death was also the most stunning display of love the world has ever seen. That he was condemned so we could be forgiven, ruined so we could be remade. That he died so we could live forever.
