"In the Easter story, the death and resurrection of Jesus, we see the perfect union of justice and mercy, justice in how Jesus pays the ultimate price for human wickedness and mercy in that we don't have to.
"It's this profound truth that shapes the mission Jesus then gives to his disciples. Because Jesus has dealt with what the Bible calls sin. Mercy is freely available. So go then proclaims Jesus and share this message of forgiveness with all who will hear."
