Former deputy leader of Reform Ben Habib has claimed that Reform have an "obligation of debt" to the British public .
Speaking to GB News, he said: "Reform now has an obligation to the people that it has motivated into action, the people to whom it has given hope that actually Reform will come and save the day.
"It has a huge obligation of debt to the British people to deliver on all the promises it's made. What we mustn't do is vacate the battlefield like we did in 2016, vacate the battlefield for Boris Johnson like we did in 2019.
"If we now vacate the battlefield, we would do massive further damage to the democratic status of this country. Nigel, senior Leadership Reform UK need to stay the distance and people like me and other members of Reform and other people who care about this country, need to hold them to account and make sure they do not leave that battlefield."
