Watch the awkward moment new Chancellor Rachel Reeves faces difficulties in entering 11 Downing Street.

Reeves was granted the position yesterday after Sir Keir Starmer's Labour's party romped to an overwhelming majority in the General Election.

The 45-year-old was the obvious choice for the role after serving as Shadow Chancellor since 2021.

But she appeared to have troubles on her first full day in the role with GB News Political Editor Christopher Hope noting: "She can't get in" as he spots her waiting outside the property.
