WATCH: Nana Akua says Kemi Badenoch's ethnicity is 'irrelevant'

Nana Akua has claimed that it is "wonderful yet irrelevant" that Kemi Badenoch is black.

Speaking on GB News she said: "I think it's great. I mean ultimately I think it's wonderful. But the bottom line is, is she is judged by how she is?

"Sometimes we get this thing when people say, oh, it's great because you're black, so you're there.

"But sometimes people then go, oh, you're only there because you're black.

"So highlighting the fact that she's black, it is a fact. And I think it's a great fact, you know, it's wonderful but it's also irrelevant."
