In PMQs today Labour said that they will protect working people
A heated exchange took place today at PMQs between Angela Rayner and Oliver Downend as he asked her to define working people at Prime Ministers questions.
Labour’s election manifesto said the party would not increase taxes on them and included a commitment not to increase national insurance, income tax or VAT.
Some small business owners have been lefty concerned that they could face a tax hike following the autmun budget, that the Prime Minister has previously warned will be "painful."
