Trump led his fourth and final rally after midnight before a packed arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the third presidential election in a row that he has used the city for his last event.
Speaking at his final rally Trump said: "By the way, the Border Patrol two weeks ago gave us the strongest, the strongest endorsement you've ever heard.
"They said he's the greatest president in history and the best president on the border by a factor of 10.
"I said to them, ‘Does that mean I'm better than Abraham Lincoln and George?’ ‘Yes, sir, you're better than both of them’.”
He added: "Assuming we can win tomorrow, which I think we should be able to do pretty easy. It's in our hands, right? It's in our hands. It's totally in our hands."
