GB News political editor Christopher Hope has said that Donald Trump being elected president of the US makes it "harder for Labour to ignore" Reform UK MP Nigel Farage.
Speaking to GB News he said: "Nigel Farage is very interesting. I think this whole victory will make Nigel Farage a further thorn in the side of this government.
"He's already difficult anyway, winning 4 million votes in July. Five MPs, of course, looking ahead into May's local elections, Welsh elections after that and Scottish elections.
"But now he can almost say he's got his own personal special relationship with the US president. That's a worry."
He added: "So it makes it harder, I think, for the Labour government to ignore Nigel Farage. "
