US President Joe Biden will take on Donald Trump in tonight's presidential debate

US President Joseph Biden has been branded a "dementia-ridden old man" by a political commentator ahead of tonight's presidential debate.

This comes as Donald Trump will be going head-to-head with Biden in a "live debate" later tonight.

Trump, 78, who is running for the White House after being convicted in New York’s Stormy Daniels hush money case, continued to suggest Biden, 81, is not fit to serve as Commander-in-Chief due to his age.

Speaking to GBN America, political commentator Tim Young said: "Everyone around the world knows that Joe Biden can't hang for an hour and a half."Having the audience there, I think, would distract the poor, old, dementia-ridden man. Also having the microphones unmuted, Trump can't talk over Biden, where Trump should be able to talk.

"Anyone should be able to talk over their opponent during a debate. They should be able to argue. That's what I think a free and fair debate is like. This is going to be a question-and-answer period, where again, the moderators who loathe Trump are going to beat him up."
