US Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has hit out at former President Donald Trump, as he campaigns in Iowa.
The Republican representative began the next stop of his campaign trail in the US state on Sunday evening, following his claims that Trump may be "ineligible to run" due to his many legal challenges.
Ramaswamy was criticised by the former US leader on social media, as he posted on his Truth Social account on X, formerly Twitter.
Trump hit out at his fellow Republican, telling voters "a vote for Vivek is a vote for the ‘other side'".

Ramaswamy, who has previously only spoke of his "respect" for Trump, called the move a "deceitful and sly" campaign trick by his camp.
Trump is currently leading in the Iowa polls, taking 48 per cent of the vote, while Ramaswamy is trailing behind with just 8 per cent.
Taking last place in the race is Ryan Binkley with just 1 per cent of the polling.
Speaking to GB News, Ramaswamy told host Nigel Farage that Donald Trump was still an "excellent President", and has "respect and love" for him.
However, he argued that his "fresh legs" have the power to win over the younger American voters, ahead of the election on November 5.
Ramaswamy told GB News: "He got this fight started, but now it's our job to finish it. There are two America First candidates in this race, that's Donald Trump and myself.
"But I have fresh legs, and I'm able to reach the next generation. I'm worried for Trump. I'm worried for this country, that this system will not let this man get anywhere near the White House again."
Ramaswamy continued: "I've done everything I can to push back against these disastrous prosecutions and persecutions against him.
"I've called on every other Republican to remove themselves from any GOP primary ballot where he's named.
"But at a certain point we owe it to this country to see what's happening. The system wants to narrow this down to a two horse race between Donald Trump and a puppet who they can control.

"The puppet has a name, its name is Nikki Haley."
Ahead of his events in Iowa, Ramaswamy claimed his campaign is "his job and duty to this country" to win over voters.
He revealed that his camp are making "light work" of the "countless events" he's speaking at over this Iowa caucus, as a victory in the state could propel the winner to securing victory in the primaries.
Ramaswamy told Nigel: "I've got countless events, packed all the way through the Iowa caucus, at least five more.
"Plus I'm going to be speaking at one of the caucus sites tonight, which makes that according to normal day standards, a light day for us."
