Former deputy adviser on national security to Donald Trump, Sebastian Gorka has shut down claims that the White House hopeful will be a "dictator from day one", as tensions escalate between Republicans and Democrats on election day.
Trump and Kamala Harris are currently tied neck and neck in the seven key battleground states vital to swinging the election, with national polling also tying the White House hopefuls as Americans race to the ballot boxes to cast their vote.
The Republican candidate is also currently holding an "early lead" on the country's Sun Belt thanks to early voting - which includes Nevada, Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina.
Visiting voters in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump declared he is "feeling confident" about winning the election.

Discussing the election on GB News, political commentator Pablo O'Hana sparked outrage from Gorka as he suggested that Trump will be a "dictator from day one", citing the infamous "Project 2025" as the leading issue with Trump's potential second term in office.
Voicing his concerns for Trump, O'Hana claimed: "It's quite an extraordinary place to be. Donald Trump has been very clear he will be a dictator on day one - this is not a joke.
"This is the most serious election that America and some parts of the world has ever faced, we have to take this very seriously. This is not just an issue based election."
Detailing the intentions of Project 2025 in comparison to Kamala Harris's policies, O'Hana explained: "Abortion is extremely important, healthcare is extremely important, and jobs are extremely important. But Donald Trump has made his plan extremely clear - everybody can Google Project 2025 and you will see it laid out there.

"Nationwide bans on abortion, including in cases of rape and incest, removing the rights to vote, making it harder to vote. This is not a joke. This is a serious, serious issue."
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
In complete disagreement with O'Hana, Gorka hit back at the Democrat supporter and branded his remarks as "hogwash".
Gorka told GB News: "It's clownish, it's risible - he was president for four years. Kamala's campaign was the campaign of vibes and joy - I guess the vibes and joy didn't work out too much, so now it's down to fear mongering.
"What absolute hogwash, what absolute garbage. And by the way, Project 2025, the bugbear of the left, has nothing to do with President Trump. So when your campaign is failing, you have to resort to fear tactics."
Throwing more support behind Harris, O'Hana argued that Trump's campaign has been a "divisive circus" in comparison to the Vice President's.

O'Hana stated: "Project 2025 is written by Trump's advisors. And unlike the Trump campaign, which has been a divisive circus of grievances, misogyny, racism and hatred, Kamala has unified the country she's looking forward to tomorrow, not yesterday.
"Trump is old news, and people are responding to that positivity as they vote. I'm looking forward to welcoming America's first female president. She's going to bring the country together, she's going to move the country forward, she's going to protect women's right to choose. Nobody from Trump's first administration is backing him this time."
Gorka then interjected O'Hana's claim, stating that he previously "worked for him in the White House", and urged O'Hana to "brush up on his politics".
Gorka fumed: "The disinformation is stunning. We've got Robert Kennedy, we've got a former Democrat, Tulsi Gabbard. We've got Elon Musk, another famous Democrat who is loved by the Democrat Party.
"Funny how Democrats and libertarians are welcome in our party, but if you step out of line, Joe Biden will say to you, if you're a member of a minority, you ain't black, you're the bigot. The Democrats are the racists. You're the extremists."
