"A great decision, he can’t put two sentences together. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO REPLACE HIM – would be “RATINGS GOLD!"

Speaking to conservative podcaster Dan Bongino, Trump repeated the offer.

"He can't do it because he can't talk," Trump said amid Biden's refusal.

"I'll take his spot at the Super Bowl if they want, we'll get very good ratings."

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

Last year, Biden declined the gig with Fox News and Trump also decided against participating in an interview with NBC in 2018.

In 2021 and 2022 Biden participated in the Q&As, with CBS' Norah O'Donnell and then NBC's Lester Holt.

Biden's last two televised interviews were alongside first lady Jill Biden at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and with Ryan Seacrest for his New Year's Eve programme.

According to Martha Kumar, an emeritus political science professor at Towson University, Biden has participated in 86 interviews during his first three years in office.
