The left-wing mainstream media has been losing their minds over Trump’s victory over Kamala Harris in the US presidential election.
One clip racking up thousands of views online is of CNN analysing an election map showing counties comparing Harris 2024 to Biden in 2020.
As the presenter switches the map to compare the democrat vote shares, the entire of the USA goes grey indicating Harris did not outperform Biden in a single county.
Jake Tapper, hosting, exclaims: "Holy smokes! Literally nothing? Literally not one county?"
In Britain meanwhile, prominent left-wing journalist Emily Maitlis- cause of many thousands of impartiality complaints when she worked for the BBC- has also been going into meltdown as the night wore on and Trump looked increasingly likely to win.
She was told off by co-host Guru-Murthy for swearing when she referred to people calling Donald Trump ‘batsh*t’ for his statement about cats and dogs being eaten by immigrants.
Maitlis left the programme shortly afterwards.
She also featured highly in a heated discussion with Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer about whether Trump would accept the result if he lost.
Maitlis and Guru-Murthy accused Spicer of ‘laying the groundwork’ for Trump to claim election fraud after he mentioned a court case yesterday about the democrats stopping people from voting early.
Spicer said: “I’m not laying the groundwork, a court decided that. I’m actually just stating facts. I know they go contrary to your narrative, but the reality is that’s happened.”
Repeated interruptions followed from Maitlis, leading to Spicer asking: “can I just finish for once please Emily”. She responded repeatedly: “I’m just asking.”
MSNBC also showed their true colours when their commentator former White House Communications Director Nicole Wallace said the contest was still a ‘dead heat’, despite Trump reaching 230 electoral college votes.
LATEST FROM MEMBERSHIP:
'I mean, I guess a slice of good news is that the polls have accurately captured this dead heat,' Wallace said.
At the time, the New York Times prediction needle was 88 per cent in favour of Trump, prompting many voters to cry media bias.
One said: “Are we really to believe that our Dem betters get their news from these low IQ nitwits. They're still calling it a "dead heat."'
Meanwhile, another social media user stated: 'If you want to know what media bias looks like... there it is.'
Together with Maitlis, Tom Bradby is leading the liberal meltdown in the UK, claiming Brits cannot believe that the world's most important democracy has elected a 'fascist'.
He said on ITV: “There will be a lot of people watching at home who will not be able to conceive that the most powerful democratic country in the world has elected somebody, who people closest to him called a fascist.”
The presenter went on to question how bad a President Trump could be.
Donald Trump has won the Presidency and currently sits on 279 electoral college votes.
