Kamala Harris is campaigning against Republican rival Donald Trump to become US President in November

Kamala Harris would be the most "dangerous" and "least qualified" US President in history if elected in November, Victor Davis Hanson has claimed.

The Democrat candidate is just weeks away from potentially becoming the first female leader of the United States of America, after a strenuous campaign against Republican rival Donald Trump.

According to the latest polling across the pond, Harris has a 2.7-point lead over Trump in the latest average of national polls, collated by FiveThirtyEight.

However, Hanson told GBN America that if Harris was to become the next Potus, she would "revert back to form open borders", with "no deterrence abroad" and a "soft" approach to crime.

Hanson told GBNA reporter Steven Edginton: "Kamala Harris does not prepare for anything. I don't think she's necessarily naturally limited, but she's intellectually lazy, and she always has been.

"She counts on her race, her gender or her influence, or her contacts or her mentors, but especially the press, that they won't press her. So then she just figures that whatever word salad she throws out there will be interpreted as deep or adequate or convincing."

Comparing the Democrat camp to the Republicans, Hanson claimed that Trump and his Vice President JD Vance are "much brighter" and Harris and her nominee, Tim Walz.

Following the recent televised VP debate, Hanson explained: "Based on their campaigns and their relative debates, I think that both Trump and Vance are far brighter than their counterparts. But more importantly, they're more industrious."

"Harris picked Walz because of his mediocrity, and that he wouldn't rival against her. It's characteristic of this generation of Democrats."

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

Looking ahead to Harris's possible leadership and the policies she is campaigning on, Steven asked Hanson just how "dangerous" she could be in comparison to Biden, to which Hanson exclaimed that she would be the "most left-wing" leader the US has seen.

Hanson added: "It's not a matter of controversy that she would be the most left-wing because, outside the appraisal group, surveys have shown that she's to the left of Bernie Sanders.

"So if she were to be elected, in fact, and even if she were to be defeated and to fulfil the last three months of her vice presidential tenure, she'd be pro-radical Palestinian, Iran, and a little bit more dangerous than Biden."

Offering more comparison to Biden, Hanson highlighted that the current US President is "not an impressive character" and US voters "don't like him anymore".

Hanson told GBNA: "Joe Biden is not a very impressive character. She comes off silly, cackling, but more winningly to a lot of people with therapeutic impulses.

"A lot of people think, well, she's young, she's attractive, she wants to be nice - Joe Biden now has that old man's scowl.

"He gets angry, she doesn't do that. She's insipid and she's kind of zany and sappy, but I think a lot of people miss the visceral dislike of Joe Biden. People just didn't like him anymore. He was rude, he was cruel, he snarled.

"And people thought, well, she's just such a welcome relief for our left-wing agenda."
