US political commentator Michael Malice has hit out at Vice President Kamala Harris, comparing her to ex-Labour minister Diane Abbott.
Speaking on GB News, Malice said there are three reasons for Americans to be concerned about the prospect of Harris taking the reins from Joe Biden and potentially becoming president.
It comes after 81-year-old Biden withdrew from the presidential race and endorsed his vice president.

“The thing the people in the UK need to appreciate is, it’s as if the Democrats are trying to anoint Diane Abbott as leader of the party.
“Yes, in many ways the abuse is racist and unacceptable and crossing the line.

“But at the end of the day, she is a simpleton who you would not want making change for you at Tesco.”
Outlining his three criticisms, he said: “She laughs constantly at nothing, like someone with a mental problem.
“She talks in word salad, with words that completely don’t make sense.
“Everyone who has worked for her runs away screaming and leaks to the press about how much of a nightmare she is to work for.”

Biden ended his bid for re-election on Sunday amid mounting pressure to step down following the June 27 debate with Republican rival Donald Trump.
Since offering his “full support” to Harris to be the Democrat nominee, many celebrities have followed suit.
Star Trek actor George Takei led a wave of celebrity responses to Mr Biden’s announcement, calling the President a “patriot” and urging people to “unite behind Kamala Harris”.
He wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “I want to honour our President Joe Biden.
He has served our nation admirably for decades, he is a decent honorable man, a hugely successful president, and a patriot. Now let us unite behind Kamala Harris and defeat Donald Trump in November!”
Freaky Friday actress Jamie Lee Curtis said the vice president was “trusted and tested”.
In a post to Instagram she said: “I support wholeheartedly @joebiden and his decision to step down and to endorse unreservedly @kamalaharris.
“She is trusted and tested and she is a fierce advocate for women’s rights and people of colour and her message is one of hope and unity for America at her time of great national divide.”
Grammy winning singer John Legend posted a statement alongside an Instagram post calling for the American public to “elect Kamala Harris as our President”.
“She’s ready for this fight and I’m excited to help her in any way I can,” Legend said.
