Kamala Harris's competence has been thrown into question as America First Policy Institute senior fellow Steve Yates has pointed out that now is "not the time for on-the-job training".
The Vice President is most likely going to be the next Democrat leader after Joe Biden offered his "full support" to Harris shortly after announcing his decision not to run for a second term as US President.
However, Yates shared with GBN America that many people are "concerned" about Harris's "lack of experience" with foreign enemies such as China and Russia.

"They have almost unlimited resources and personnel to try to manipulate and game us, and they do that with all world leaders.

GettyThe relationship between the US, Russia and China has been strained over the past few years and has heightened as the US supports Ukraine after the Russian invasion.
It was announced on Monday that the US will send 1.7 billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine, including an array of munitions for air defence systems, artillery, mortars and anti-tank and anti-ship missiles.
With the latest funding, the US has now sent more than $55.4billion in security assistance to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion.
The senator added that he feels that the chaos in US politics could have disastrous consequences.
He explained: "When Prime Minister [of Israel] Netanyahu was visiting the United States, Joe Biden had a relatively brief public meeting with the visiting Prime Minister, and then the Vice President had a meeting and she gave the press response afterwards.

"I hope that's not how our adversaries are going to act for the sake of America or the interest of our allies, for that matter. But I'm quite concerned that impression is real."
