The teen wore a Biden costume and mimicked his mannerisms

A clip of a US trick-or-treater dressed as Joe Biden imitating his frequent gaffes has gone viral.

In the video, the teen dressed as the President slowly approaches a door with a large bag for collecting candy.

Mimicking the elderly Biden, he stumbles as he walks up to the doorway, supported by one of his friends who holds him steady as he moves.

He then almost trips over, with his fellow trick-or-treaters jumping in on the joke and propping ‘Biden’ up so he does not fall.

The teenager, wearing a Biden mask, is then given a round of a round of applause by his friends, who laugh as they appear to find the costume and performance hilarious.

The clip has gone viral on social media, which was posted at 2.41am (GMT), amassing over 6,400 retweets and 47,000 likes already.

Social media users were in fits of giggles over the 18-second video.

One said deemed the clip “hilarious”, whilst another said: “Whoever that is just won Halloween.”

A third praised the performance of the teen: “That was actually freakishly accurate in terms of posture, mannerisms, and gait.”

Biden’s frequent gaffes and errors whilst speaking have becoming a running-joke.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

Most recently, the President gave a televised address to America from the White House. He addressed the nation, pledging his commitment to standing by Israel.

However, the speech was riddled with blunders and errors, as he struggled with reading off the autocue.

He appeared to read instructions set out on the teleprompter, including the direction reading “make it clear”.

Later in the speech, the 80-year-old bizarrely stated, "you're all America” after struggling to read his script, before correcting himself to say: “You're all American.”

Vice President Kamala Harris brushed aside concerns over Biden’s age over the weekend, stating that “Joe Biden is very much alive and running for re-election”.

Yet some have not found the gaffes as humorous as others.

In September, a rival party filed for a conservatorship for the President.

The US Libertarian Party filed for conservatorships for Biden, as well as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnel, 81, referring to them as “geriatric elites”.

A conservatorship is appointed by a judge when a person is unable to make decisions for themselves, so another individual is given decision making powers on their behalf.

The Libertarian Party’s Chair, Angela McArdle, said that the party has spoken with several attorneys who have confirmed that an organisation can have a conservatorship over an individual in Washington DC.

Biden is the oldest living president ever.

He plans to run for re-election and if successful, would begin his second term aged 82 and conclude it aged 86.
