Biden said he has been to the site of "every mass shooting" since being President

Joe Biden said that he has been to the site of “every mass shooting”, in the latest gaffe from the President.

At a speech in Washington, Biden, 80, falsely claimed that he had visited the site of every mass shooting.

He said: “After every mass shooting, we hear a simple message – the same message all over the country. I’ve been to every mass shooting. ‘Do something. Please do something.”

The President made one trip this year to Montery Park, California, where a shooting took place at a dance studio in March.

Last May, he travelled to Buffalo, New York, days after a massacre at a supermarket, and to Ulvade, Texas following a school shooting.

In 2021, he went to Atlanta, Georgia, to speak with Asian American leaders after a shooting spree claimed the lives of six women of Asian descent.

However, he did not visit any other mass shooting sights.

The Gun Violence Archive, a non-profit organisation which tracks mass shootings, listed 506 shootings for 2023 so far.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

The incident is the most recent in a series of mistakes and blunders that have begun to raise questions about Biden’s physical and mental abilities.

Biden, who is seeking re-election next November, has made numerous blunders when speaking about his travel history.

Earlier this month, he falsely claimed he went to ground zero the day after the 9/11 attacks, when in reality, it was over a week later.

A recent AP-NORC survey suggested more than three-in-four Americans believe Biden is too old to run in 2024.

Earlier this month, the US Libertarian Party has filed for conservatorships for Biden, 80, as well as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnel, 81.

Biden, 80, is the oldest living president ever.

He plans to run for re-election and if successful, would begin his second term aged 82 and conclude it aged 86.

The Libertarian Party filed for conservatorships for both Biden and McConnell.
