Joe Biden has "failed his last-ditch attempt" to secure more voters ahead of the November election, it has been claimed.
The Potus went head to head with former US leader Donald Trump in a live CNN debate, which left the Democrats considering a "replacement" for the 81-year-old.
Conducting a poll after the debate, CNN revealed that almost 70 per cent of viewers agreed that Donald Trump was stronger than Biden.
Speaking to GB News, Republican Overseas UK spokesperson Jennifer Ewing claimed that it is "not an age issue" for Biden, but a "cognitive ability issue".

Ewing said: "There are plenty of people well into their 80s and even 90s that are mentally able to do Joe Biden's job. Let's not forget, Trump is not that much younger.
"The most shocking thing is the way the people on the left are reacting to last night. Either they're being dishonest or they realise they can no longer run cover for him, which is what they've been doing."
Hitting out at the impact on the Democrats amid claims they may "replace Biden", Ewing said they are the "real losers" of the debate, as they have "not been given a choice to pick somebody better" in the leadership race.
Ewing also noted that the secondary "losers" of the election campaign are the "Americans", as they "deserve two good candidates" that they can pick from.

Ewing explained: "The people who have been lying about Biden's cognitive abilities are the reason we're in the situation we saw last night.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"It was a last-ditch attempt, this was the test case, and he really, really failed on a human level. It is very sad to watch, he should have been pulled out a long time ago."
Revealing what she believes the Democrats should do next, Ewing claimed that the party may "have him step down" as President.
Ewing told GB News: "They can either have him step down right now, which means Kamala Harris becomes President, and that's a problem for them as her ratings are even lower than his.
"Or they go to the convention in August, and the delegates who have been sent there with a pledge to vote for him change who they're going to vote for and vote for somebody else."

Discussing the other candidates who could replace Joe Biden in the election race, Ewing highlighted that the Democrats have "good candidates on the bench".
Ewing said: "They've got a decent bench on the Democrat side, they really do. And I might not agree with the policies, but they're certainly more able.
"I think Obama is enjoying his third term too much. We have that quote of him saying, wouldn't it be great if I didn't have to be the president - I could just sit back, and I think actually, I think he does this."
