Joe Biden has ramped up his attacks on Republican rival Donald Trump after disastrous polling data suggested the 46th President is on track to lose the next election.
Biden, 81, is becoming increasingly irritated by his predecessor, claiming Trump’s uses “language you heard in Nazi Germany”.
The Commander-in-Chief also blamed Trump for being responsible for women losing abortion rights and accused him of being “determined to destroy American democracy”.
However, Biden’s latest push is looking to highlight the potential problems which could arise if Trump wins next November.
A Biden campaign spokesperson confirmed the President's team plan to slam specific policies proposed by Trump.
The attack line, dubbed “Trump’s America in 2025”, will also focus on the former President’s legal woes.
“There has been a lot of external pressure to start zeroing in on Trump and sharpen the hits against him,” a source said.
The insider added: “Trump winning the nomination is a formality at this point and the hope is that once people are reminded of what Trump's policies and rhetoric are actually like, the polls will start to look a bit better.”
However, Trump’s senior campaign adviser Jason Miller rubbished the strategy, claiming: “This is the latest, sad, desperate attempt to revive Joe Biden's failing presidency, but it's not going to work.”

He also warned: "The reality is that it's Joe Biden against democracy.
“Joe Biden has weaponised our justice system in an unconstitutional manner.”
Opinion polls suggest Biden and Trump remain unpopular, with both candidates registering negative net approval ratings.
The incumbent President is ahead of his rival on social security, education and medicare.
However, Trump is pulling away on inflation, jobs, immigration, crime and addressing budget deficit.

Biden was handed a Thanksgiving disaster after a new NBC News poll released on Sunday put Trump two points ahead of his successor in the race for the White House.
It showed 46 per cent of registered voters backing the Grand Old Party’s frontrunner and 44 per cent supporting Biden’s re-election bid.
The poll was the first time NBC News put Trump in the lead since he lost the 2020 US Presidential Election.
A separate survey suggested Trump, as he did in 2016, could return to the Oval Office without winning the popular vote.

PATrump would beat Biden 292 electoral college votes to 246 but trail the 46th President by one per cent.
However, many key swings state remain on a knife edge, with Trump registering less than two point leads in Arizona and Wisconsin.
Joe Bedell, Head of Stack Data Strategy in North America, said: “Our research is the largest exercise of its kind so far this cycle and we can confidently say that as things currently stand, if Donald Trump is selected as the Republican candidate, he is likely to win.
“Despite recent calls for change, our polling also shows that neither party would benefit from a change in candidate, President Trump would beat both of Biden’s possible replacements by an even greater margin.”
