Former advisor to Donald Trump Sebastian Gorka has slammed Joe Biden as a "coward" and said he is treating his likely opponent like "Voldemort."
Biden and Trump swept to victory in statewide nominating contests across the country last week, setting up a historic rematch in November's general election despite low approval ratings for both candidates.
Trump and Biden both focused on each other as the results became clear and in a victory speech at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Trump focused on Biden's immigration policies and called him the "worst president" in history.
Biden claimed in a statement: "Tonight's results leave the American people with a clear choice: Are we going to keep moving forward or will we allow Donald Trump to drag us backwards into the chaos, division, and darkness that defined his term in office?"

Speaking to GBN America, Sebastian Gorka, who served as Trump's advisor whilst he was in office, said: "He's a coward, and he also is paving the the whole campaign is cratering his presidency.
"The State of the Union is a very solemn, or should be a very solemn act, required by our constitutional order for the incumbent president every year to address both houses and talk about what has happened in the last year and what his plans as president are for the following year.
"It's not supposed to be a stump speech from the hustings.
"That was an angry old man giving a campaign speech full of lies and deflections and treating President Trump like Voldemort, whose name must not be mentioned. It was pathetic."

GETTYHe added: "There were historic wins for President Trump all over the country in 14 different states of the union.
"On top of that, the thing that I think was most irritating and why you saw this grumpy old man yelling for an hour is the polls.
"The New York Times, which is a bastion of left wing propaganda and really a propaganda arm for the Democrat Party, their latest poll this week says that if the election were today, my former boss would handsomely defeat the current incumbent.
"He was rattled because he knows the American people want peace and prosperity back.

"They don't want petroleum costing three times what it did when we were in the White House.
"They know that they have nothing to offer except a screeching, senile old man."
After last Tuesday's results, Trump's last competitor Nikki Haley dropped out of the Republican race, leaving him as the presumptive GOP nominee.
