13 US service members were killed by a suicide bomber during an evacuation out of Kabul three years ago

US President Joe Biden has been criticised for failing to attend the ceremony to mark the third anniversary of the Kabul airport attack, which killed 13 American servicemen and women.

Attending a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, former US President Donald Trump was the only major political figure to attend, with Biden and Kamala Harris notably missing.

In a statement, the President addressed the anniversary of the attack and declared: "We must never forget that each beloved service member we lost was a human being, who left behind entire families and communities. And together, we must never stop striving to be worthy of their ultimate sacrifice."

Two days later, Biden was spotted on a beach in Delaware, waving to locals from his deck chair.

Criticising the leader of America, Sebastian Gorka, former adviser to Donald Trump, blasted the Biden administration for missing the event, claiming Kamala Harris had a "free calendar" that day.

Gorka fumed: "As we had the anniversary, my former boss, President Trump, was there with no fanfare. He was there with the families, he paid his respects.

"Where was the current incumbent who was responsible for their deaths? He was on the beach. He was on holiday in Delaware. What was Kamala Harris doing? Her official calendar for Monday and Tuesday was empty. The current administration was nowhere to be seen."

In further criticism of the Democrats, Gorka accused Biden of facing "no accountability" for his actions on Afghanistan, which resulted in the suicide bomber carrying out his horrific attack.

Gorka told GBN America: "No one was fired for anything of consequence. That's happened in the last three and a half years because there is no accountability.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

"When President Trump was shot in the head, the Secret Service director wasn't fired either, she resigned. And the person who's actually responsible for the day to day operations of the Secret Service took over.

"That's the bizarro upside down world we live in. You can literally get away with murder and nothing will happen to you."

Discussing the fallout of Biden's Afghanistan withdrawal, Gorka claimed that America's reputation has since been tarnished and the nation "can't be trusted anymore" on the world stage.

He explained: "We expended literally trillions of dollars, thousands of lives in US uniform, also our allies and partners, and then I guess we just said it's too hard.

"We're going to just skulk out of Central Asia and our enemies will be emboldened - we'll leave $85billion worth of equipment there that the Taliban can parade with, and anybody who trusted our word, those who worked with us will realise that America doesn't keep her promises."

Turning the discussion to the current Presidential hopeful, Gorka slammed Kamala Harris for her supporting Biden in the decision making over Afghanistan, telling GBNA that the deaths are "on Joe Biden's watch".

He said: "She's proud of the decision to abandon Afghanistan. She said she was the last person in the room when Joe Biden made that decision.

"So the disastrous collapse of Afghanistan, the takeover of the Taliban, the 13 servicemen and women who were murdered that day by an ISIS suicide bomber, that's all under Joe Biden's watch."
