Donald Trump has revealed he intends to invite the Ukrainian President for another meeting in the White House - just a fortnight after their astonishing Oval Office showdown.
Speaking to reporters, the US President said "we want to get the Ukraine war over with" and "get this show on the road".
His invitation follows Ukraine's acceptance of the US proposal to a 30-day ceasefire across the Black Sea, as well as the frontline, earlier today.
The President has announced that he hopes the Kremlin accepts the terms of the deal, and will speak with Vladimir Putin today or tomorrow.

Ukraine's agreement to such a deal comes after seven hours of arduous negotiations between top American and Ukrainian diplomats in Saudi Arabia.
Following the talks, the two countries announced in a joint statement that America would "immediately lift the pause on intelligence sharing and resume security assistance to Ukraine".
The statement asserted that Ukraine "expressed readiness to accept the US proposal to enact an immediate, interim 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual agreement of the parties, and which is subject to acceptance and concurrent implementation by the Russian Federation".
"The United States will communicate to Russia that Russian reciprocity is the key to achieving peace."

Subject to Zelensky's acceptance of such an invitation by the President, the two leaders' meeting will be the first time the pair have met since their bust-up in the White House last month.
Vice President JD Vance was keen to launch an attack on the war-time leader, complaining that Zelensky did not thank Donald Trump and America for their previous support.
After the meeting, Trump claimed that Zelensky was "not ready for peace" in a shocking social media statement on his Truth Social platform.
He added: "I don't want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for peace."
