A series of tweets have been shared on Donald Trump Jr's social media account
Donald Trump Jr has "announced" he will be running for the US presidential election in 2024 after suggesting his father had passed away in a hacked tweet.
Trump Jr's X account appears to be hacked after a number of offensive tweets were shared, including one which states that "North Korea is about to get smoked".
Underneath the post was a response mentioning Adin Ross, a popular live streamer on Kick who claimed he would do an interview with North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
Other posts shared online appear to attack President Joe Biden, with one reading: "F*** @JoeBiden Stupid A** N****"
The first of multiple posts said: "I'm sad to announce, my father Donald Trump has passed away. I will be running for president in 2024."
Other tweets included references to YouTuber Logan Paul and Elon Musk.
Another included "some interesting messages with Jeffrey Epstein, a known sex offender and financier who committed suicide while awaiting sex trafficking charges.
Social media users responded to the collection of posts, suggesting Trump Jr had been hacked.
"You have to be hacked," tweeted one person, while another added: "100% hacked!"
The term "Hacked" was trending on Twitter as several users commenting on the situation.
The posts have since been deleted.
Trump's other son, Eric Trump, posted two tweets about the hacking, appearing to laugh his brother's account was compromised.
"I don't want @DonaldJTrumpJr to get his account back - this is all too entertaining," read one tweet.
Another tweet wondered what Trump Jr's password must have been to get hacked.
"What was @DonaldJTrumpJr password? Don2024?"
