Donald Trump demands Joe Biden take a DRUG TEST before debate

Echoing demands from former White House physician turned Republican Congressman Ronny Jackson, Trump said: “DRUG TEST FOR CROOKED JOE BIDEN??? I WOULD, ALSO, IMMEDIATELY AGREE TO ONE!!!”

There is no evidence to suggest Biden uses performance-enhancing medication.

However, American voters remain worried about his ability to serve as President.

A survey by JL Partners revealed that 49 per cent believe the 46th President will forget where he is on Thursday, with 40 per cent also fearing he will have problems standing up.

Biden appeared to make a blunder at the recent G7 summit in Italy, with the 81-year-old seemingly walking away from world leaders before being brought back by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

The opening debate of the 2024 White House race will take place in the swing state of Georgia, with the pair going head-to-head in Atlanta.

Biden agreed to participate provided there was no live studio audience and that CNN hosts use microphones that automatically shut off when each candidate’s allotted time is complete.

Despite the damning poll about Biden, a staggering 79 per cent of voters expect Trump to talk over his successor just four years after doing so ahead of the 2020 US Presidential Election.

Trump’s latest post on Truth Social comes just days after the 45th President predicted his rival would be “jacked up” and receive a “shot in the a*s” to help him stay focused.

Biden received even more criticism following a surprisingly successful State of the Union address in March.

Trump’s spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt also took aim at CNN, once dubbed by the 45th President as the “Clinton News Network”, after baselessly accusing debate moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash of political bias.

She has since demanded an apology from CNN.

Televised debates in the US have a much longer history than in the UK, with John F Kennedy taking on Richard Nixon in 1960.

Trump’s moments in 2016 and 2020 were highly covered but the property-tycoon-turned-politician failed to win any snap post-debate polls.

Current opinion polls suggest Trump is narrowly ahead of Biden ahead of Thursday.

Despite losing the popular vote to ex-First Lady Hillary Clinton, Trump won Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Biden flipped the swing states into the Democratic column last time but is facing a resurgent Republican revival ahead of polls opening on November 5.
