Donald Trump’s campaign spokesperson denied the allegation

Donald Trump has been hit with a “twisted” sexual assault allegation from an ex-model.

Stacey Williams, who worked as a professional model in the 1990s, alleged she was introduced to Trump by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein at a Christmas party in 1992.

Williams, who is now 56, accused the former President of groping and sexual touching in an incident at Trump Tower the following year.

After Epstein took Williams to Trump’s flagship New York complex, the former model alleged that Trump put his hands “all over my breasts”, waist and buttocks.

Williams claimed she froze after being left “deeply confused”, adding the two men were smiling at each other.

“It became very clear then that he and Donald were really, really good friends and spent a lot of time together,” Williams said.

She added: “Jeffrey and I left and he didn’t look at me or speak to me and I felt this seething rage around me, and when we got down to the sidewalk, he looked at me and just berated me, and said: Why did you do that?”

However, a senior Trump campaign spokesperson rejected the allegation, labelling the claim as “unequivocally false”.

Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary for Donald Trump’s campaign, said: “These accusations, made by a former activist for Barack Obama and announced on a Harris campaign call two weeks before the election, are unequivocally false.

“It’s obvious this fake story was contrived by the Harris campaign.”

Williams, who organises a group called Survivors for Kamala, also claimed that Trump sent her a postcard which pictured his Mar-a-Lago home in late 1993.

The Guardian claimed that Trump wrote: “Stacey – Your home away from home. Love Donald.”

The latest allegation comes after around two dozen women accused the ex-President of sexual misconduct.

During a civil case last year, a jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing the columnist E Jean Carroll in 1996 and awarded her $5million in a judgment.

Williams' claim also raises further questions about Trump’s relationship with Epstein.

The pair were pictured attending the same social events throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.

Speaking in 2002, Trump said: “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with.

“It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

However, after Epstein was arrested on sex-trafficking charges in 2019, Trump said: “I haven’t spoken to him in 15 years. I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you.

Trump also hinted at releasing more files related to Epstein if he returns to the White House.

Asked why he had “hesitation” about the documents being released, the 78-year-old said: “I’m not involved. I never went to his island, fortunately, but a lot of people did.”

Epstein committed suicide aged 66 at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan in August 2019, while awaiting trial on new charges of trafficking teenage girls.

However, Trump’s supporters believe the latest attack from Williams comes as opinion polls point towards the property-tycoon-turned-politician winning the 2024 US Presidential Election.

FiveThirtyEight marginally tips Trump to defeat Kamala Harris, giving the 45th President 271 electoral college votes based on current polling.

Fresh CNN data also indicates that Trump is running up more votes across all the key swing states in postal voting compared to his 2020 performance.

While Trump is only ahead in Arizona, more Republicans are voting early via post in 2024 than in 2020 across the board, meaning Democrats may not be able to rely on remote votes to turn the tide on election night as they did four years ago.
