Donald Trump has been warned that "dangerous rhetoric" from the left could be "fuelling" assassination attempts against the former President, after a man was arrested at his rally in California on Saturday.
As Trump hosted his latest campaign rally in Coachella, 49-year-old Vem Miller was arrested for possessing an illegal firearm after allegedly presenting fake VIP and press passes at the event's security checkpoint.
In a grave admission, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco claimed they had "probably stopped another assassination attempt".
However, the Sheriff's office made clear that the incident "did not impact the safety of former President Trump or attendees of the event".

Delivering her verdict on the third attempt to harm Trump, American Political Strategist Scottie Nell Hughes claimed there are "a lot of questions remaining" about Miller and his arrest.
Hughes explained: "This is the first time of the three attempted assassinations where the sheriff outright came out and said almost immediately his name, age, address, and gave us more information to the public than we've had in the last two assumed assassination attempts of Trump.
"You've also seen President Trump take a different stance, where he praised Secret Service and law enforcement, especially in the second assassination attempt and how they're handling his security - that was something that we did not have following the Pennsylvania rally."
With just 21 days to go until the US election, Hughes noted that the atmosphere amongst American voters is "very emotional" and "very tense", and people need to "be careful about what is being said of the two candidates".

Hughes told GB News: "The American people are engaged and they're paying attention to what is going on in our country and what is being said by these politicians.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"I think I speak on behalf of almost all Americans when I say this just states how sad it is that our politics have become so dangerous in today's world."
Hitting out at the Democratic side ahead of the election, Hughes claimed that the "dangerous rhetoric" emerging from key figures on the left is "making light" of the assassination attempts on Trump, and the threats he is facing as November 5 looms.
Hughes cautioned: "I think some of the very dangerous rhetoric that we've seen on the left, making light of the Donald Trump assassination attempts, the ones that we know are confirmed, is not going to go away.
"Just last week, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo came out and said that we need to 'extinguish Donald Trump for good'. That's the Biden-Harris secretary saying this, and I think that's what's very dangerous, and why you're seeing so many people right now not thinking logically."

Highlighting the current state of US politics on the world stage, Hughes fumed that the West is meant to be a "place of peace" and not a "third world country".
Hughes told GB News: "The West is supposed to be a place where democracy rules and where people express themselves not by violence, but at the ballot box. And yet here we find ourselves in 2024, in an election where you've had multiple assassination attempts and threats against Donald Trump.
"This is not a third world country where coups and other ideas like this happen, this is happening in the United States of America. And if we do not try to bring things back to civility in America today, that's going to be continued to be felt in ripples in other countries in their election systems as well."
Miller was remanded in custody at John Benoit Detention Center and handed a bail worth £10,000 for each of the two misdemeanours for which he was charged.
He was released from custody on Sunday and will appear at Indio Larson Justice Centre on January 2.
