"I've seen more masks and keffiyeh cloths than I have bras," a US journalist joked after attending the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Writer for the Washington Examiner Tiana Lowe Doesche spoke to GBN America about Democrat leaders blasting the Republicans as "weird," and pointed out that their supporters also come across a bit strange with their attire in the Chicago heat.
Vice presidential candidate Tim Walz has been known to call Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance "weird," with Trump hitting back saying that they are "very normal people."
Discussing Democrats' own bizarre habits, Doescher said: "I'll certainly say I've seen more Masks and keffiyeh cloths, even though it's quite warm outside here in Chicago, than I have seen brassieres.

"When if you look at the polling across both parties, the economy is the number one issue with immigration coming as a close second. And those two issues haven't been mentioned at any of these protests on day one of the DNC."
She added to her thoughts on the recent polling, and claimed that the upcoming November vote will be all about "identity politics".
She explained: "This really is the identity politics election, which is kind of ironic because that's not borne out in the polling.
"Trump only won with 8 per cent of black voters back in 2020. And now, if you look at some polls, he's getting well into the double digits with black voters."
The journalist said that it is actually the Democrat supporters that are "weird"

Pointing out that Trump has had an increase in Latino Republican supporters, Doescher revealed that figures are "almost at a 60 to 40 split."
She added: "With Latino voters, it's even closer. It's coming closer to a 60 to 40 split, which has never happened in modern Republican history.
"Even though there is this hyper-focus on categorising everyone based on race, this election is really breaking down more on gender lines."
The US election has faced some dramatic moments in recent months, with Joe Biden shockingly pulling out the race.
