Ex-Tory Chairman hits out at Rishi Sunak for calling early election: 'What on earth was he doing?'

Former Tory Party Chairman Jake Berry has lamented Rishi Sunak's decision to call the General Election when he did.

Speaking on GB News, he tells Andrew Pierce the prime minister could have waited until Britain was in a better moment economically.

He says the Rwanda scheme might have also got underway, which could have further played into the hands of the Conservative Party.
