Former Home Secretary Suella Braverman says she has “looked” at Reform UK’s operation after being pressed on whether she has ever considered joining Nigel Farage’s insurgent party.
Farage managed to lead his party to successes in five constituencies, more than he ever managed to achieve with UKIP.
The party has long been linked with Braverman given her alignment on many issues such as immigration and taxes.
Speaking on GB News, she refused to be drawn on whether joining the party has or ever will be a possibility.

“People who are lifelong Conservatives. I’ve listened to them and they say, ‘I’ve backed your party for ages, and we are furious with your party and we are going to Reform’.
“I have listened to them. Attacking them as racists or thugs is not the right attitude. Demeaning them is not the right attitude.
“We need to be humble in the face of very strong feedback from our core voters at this election.”
Reform managed to oust the Tories from three seats at the General Election, and Braverman feels the party now faces an “existential threat” from Farage and co.

PA“Millions of our voters were betrayed and angry with the Conservatives and they went to an alternative”, she said.
“I believe whoever's leading the party, whoever's in the party needs to acknowledge this basic truth, that we are facing an existential threat from Reform and we need to change ourselves to ensure that we neutralise that threat, that we bring those people back home.”
The Tories faced a hammering at the polls with Keir Starmer delivering an overwhelming majority.
After achieving 34 per cent of the vote share, Labour came out with 412 seats.
It is the worst Conservative result in terms of seats in history, with the party on 121.
The Liberal Democrats meanwhile achieved their highest tally since 1923, taking 72 seats.
