The live event will take place from 8pm on Monday February 12 with a studio audience made up of a cross-section of UK voters.
Dixon joined Tom Harwood and Emily Carver on Good Afternoon Britain to look ahead to the event.
“This is exactly what we [GB News] were invented for”, he said.
“It’s all about the people in power facing the people who put them there, or in this case, may not put in there.
“We’ll have to wait and see, won’t we?”
GB News has also invited Keir Starmer to participate in a forum where voters will be able to quiz the Labour leader on his vision for Britain.
In a direct message to GB News viewers ahead of next week, the Prime Minister said: "I want to hear about the issues that matter to you."
