'Absolute disgrace!' Sadiq Khan blasted for 'fostering hate' as Mayor accused of allowing 'Hamas sympathiser' protests

Speaking to GB News at the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (Arc) Conference in London, the former aide to Margaret Thatcher said the Mayor's approach to tackling the protests has been "an absolute disgrace".

He said: "We have had decades of mass migration into the United Kingdom, frankly, without the consent of the British people. I don't think the British people ever voted for this and we're seeing the the results of that on the streets of London right now - large numbers of protesters basically supporting Hamas.

"And there's also frankly some deep-seated anti-Semitism that we are seeing which is incredibly dangerous that should never be tolerated in the United Kingdom and it's time to put an end to mass migration. Also, any foreign nationals and British soil who are supporting terrorism, they should be deported."

Gardiner continued: "It's absolutely outrageous what we're seeing. The police have been weak-kneed kneed, ineffective.

"I think that's the result of poor leadership. But also, of course, you have a Mayor in London, Sadiq Khan, who is a far-left extremist, frankly. And so there's no leadership of course from the mayor who who tolerates, even fosters these large demonstrations which are expressing a great deal of hatred.

"These demonstrations are about hate. They're not about peace. And so we see the police taking very little action.

"They're they're not even listening to the Home secretary - the Home Secretary is saying the police have got to act. Suella Bravreman has made this 100 per cent clear.

"The police are not acting. Poor leadership I think from the the heads of the Metropolitan Police but also the Mayor of London has been an absolute disgrace.

"And Sadiq Khan I think is a big part of the problem in terms of doing absolutely nothing about what we are seeing.

"Lawlessness. We're seeing the occupation of train stations. We are seeing British citizens being threatened, especially Jewish British citizens, a culture of fear which is completely unacceptable.

"My former boss Margaret Thatcher would have been absolutely appalled by by what's happening in London. She would have intervened if she was Prime Minister today."

Last week, Sadiq Khan broke from Labour's official position, demanding a ceasefire in Israel and Gaza.

In a statement posted to X, he said the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Israel will "deteriorate even further" if a ceasefire is not called.

Khan said: "Many Londoners like me have been watching in absolute horror at the death and suffering in Israel and Gaza.

"Londoners family members killed, tortured and taken hostage. Lives changed forever, going through unimaginable trauma.

"The terrible situation in Gaza now looks set to deteriorate even further. Thousands of innocent civilians, men, women and children have already been killed.

"It is becoming impossible for aid to reach the people who desperately need it. Substantial military escalation is now likely, which will only deepen the humanitarian disaster."

He added: "I join the international community in calling for a ceasefire. It will stop the killing and will allow vital aid supplies to reach those who need it in Gaza.

"It would also allow the international community more time to prevent a protracted conflict in the region and further devastating loss of life."

While the London mayor acknowledged that Israel "has a right to defend itself", he warned that "a widespread military escalation will only deepen the humanitarian disaster".
