An anti semitism charity leader was told by a police officer that he looked "openly Jewish" and was threatened with arrest for being near a pro-Palestine march
Lord John Mann who is the Independent Adviser to UK Government on Antisemitism, has claimed that the Chief of Police should not lose his job after there have been calls for him to "resign or be fired."
The Met Police has been embroiled in a scandal after an anti-Semitism charity leader was told by a police officer that he looked "openly Jewish" and was threatened with arrest for being near a pro-Palestine march.
Speaking to GB News Lord Mann said: "It would be, I think, very dangerous for the country and very dangerous for the Jewish community if Mark Rowley was to go. He is the senior expert in the country on counter-terrorism. We need those skills at the moment.
"We're living in dangerous times. The last thing we want is to undermine our ability to deal with terrorism."
