Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has claimed a discussion has 'not been had' with Musk about any donation

Deputy Leader of Reform UK Richard Tice has declared he "wouldn't turn down" a donation from Elon Musk, amid reports that the party could receive a $100million boost from the tech boss.

The Tesla and SpaceX founder is said to be considering the nine-figure donation to Reform UK, following his public criticisms of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and the Labour Party.

However, speaking to GB News about the reports, party leader Nigel Farage admitted he has had "no discussion" as of yet with Musk about the reported offering.

Sharing his stance on the possible donation with GB News, Tice praised Musk as a "big supporter of what Reform is standing for."

"His political instincts are absolutely bang on," Tice said, highlighting Musk's criticism of the Prime Minister and support for free speech.

"Anybody who wants to look at donating to Reform, who shares our values, that's a fantastic thing," he added.

When pressed on whether a significant sum would help put Reform into government, Tice responded: "Yes, of course it would."

Musk has previously demonstrated public support for Reform UK on social media platform X.

The tech billionaire responded "Yes" to a post announcing former Conservative minister Andrea Jenkyns joining Reform UK, which claimed "Reform will win the next election."

Tice highlighted Reform UK's growing influence in British politics, pointing to significant progress in recent months.

"The very fact, if you look at where we were a year ago, six months ago, that globally significant figures and serious business people in the UK have recognised the progress Reform is making - in the growth and the polls," he told GB News.

He noted that there are now "three parties in the 20 per cent range, so everything's up for grabs."

"People are saying who's the best political party, who's the best leader to save Britain and make it great again? Frankly, it's Reform and Nigel," Tice declared.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage admitted that although a potential $100million donation from Musk "hasn't been discussed", the owner of X is "very supportive" of Reform.

"What I do know is that Elon Musk is very supportive of me, what I'm trying to do, and he thinks that if Reform do well in the UK, we can bring about the same kind of change that he intends to do with Donald Trump in America," Farage explained.

"I'm not giving you a yes or a no, I don't know. But I suspect this is not true," he added.
