The protester is quickly escorted from the premises

Watch the moment a leftie protester is dragged kicking and screaming from a conference room in London’s Guildhall during a keynote Kemi Badenoch speech.

The footage, recorded by GB News’s Deputy Political Editor Tom Harwood, shows the individual being escorted off the premises after being met with a chorus of boos.

Her being apprehended is met by a round of applause and cheers while a remark by Badenoch is laughed at.

The event was marking 50 years since Margaret Thatcher helped establish the think tank.

A woman holding a banner reading "Abolish Billionaires" stood up and began shouting as Badenoch was speaking.

In response to the interruption, Badenoch could be heard saying: "I hardly think Mrs Thatcher can be blamed for the cost-of-living crisis."

The protesters were campaigning under the banner "Abolish Billionaires", according to one of those who disrupted the speech.

One of the protesters, who declined to give her name, told reporters that the Conservative party had "allowed extreme wealth to be amassed by a tiny minority, fuelling climate crisis and poverty."

The demonstrator explained their group's position on wealth inequality.

"We're calling for a wealth tax we need to make the super rich pay to redistribute their money for public services and climate action," she said.

The protester also expressed strong views about the event itself.

"It's just shameful that this event is exists. We should not be celebrating this person," she stated, referring to the commemoration of Margaret Thatcher's legacy.

The protester went on to criticise Margaret Thatcher's political legacy.

She claimed the former prime minister had set Britain on its current trajectory.

"She put us on the path that we're on right now to this mass inequality we're seeing, the cost of living crisis, the housing crisis, the climate crisis, it's all connected to her," the demonstrator said.
