Nicola Sturgeon has shared an update on her marriage to Peter Murrell after the pair were arrested over claims of fraud within the SNP.
Following the police probe, Sturgeon's marriage was the subject of speculation after allegations surfaced that their relationship was under strain.
Earlier this year the former First Minister was asked whether she and her husband were both innocent, which she replied: "I can only speak for myself."
Speaking about her relationship for the first time since their arrests, Sturgeon has strongly denied her marriage is breaking down.
"We’re still married and we will be married for a long time to come," the former SNP leader told the Rosebud podcast.
Her statement is the strongest declaration of support for her husband since they were both separately arrested.
Speaking to former Tory MP Gyles Brandreth, Sturgeon also discussed the sacrifices she has made to pursue a career in politics.
Sturgeon also revealed that she still thinks about the baby she lost to a miscarriage, who would by now be a teenager.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
She said: "I had a miscarriage in 2010. I didn’t speak about it at the time but a few years later I spoke about the miscarriage, because for a woman in politics who doesn’t have children, you get asked that question a lot.
"I always made the observation that Alex Salmond doesn’t have children. I don’t think he’s ever been asked that question, because he’s a man. Why would he be asked that question?
"The reason I spoke out about it is to make the point. Is it a regret? It’s a very simple question that doesn’t have a simple answer."
She added: "There have been times where I’ve not wanted kids and other times I thought, yeah, it might be nice.

"Then there was the period where we decided we did and it didn’t happen.
"Is it a regret? I wish I hadn’t had the miscarriage. I’ve always thought it was a girl. I’ve no idea why but I’ve always described the child I lost as 'she'."
Both Sturgeon and Murrell have been released without charge, pending further investigation.
