'We were expecting better': Pressure piles on Rachel Reeves as Lib Dems hit out at Spring Statement

The Liberal Democrats have hit out at Rachel Reeves’s Spring Statement with criticism coming from Treasury spokesperson Sarah Olney.

Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Olney said on GB News: “We’re all very disappointed to see those growth forecasts - we expected better from this Labour Government.

“It’s really not working. The Chancellor’s Budget from the autumn has not worked. We think the Chancellor should be reversing the increases to national insurance.”
