Reform UK candidate Lee Anderson has fired an election warning to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, following reports that as many as six Conservatives are considering defecting to the insurgent party.
GB News has revealed that several Tory candidates could make the switch after Nigel Farage's shock decision to stand as a candidate and lead the party.
One of the candidates told GB News that they feel "very disillusioned with everything at the moment" and the Tories "don't understand" the impact that the return of Farage is going to have.
Speaking to GB News host Patrick Christys, Lee Anderson claimed that the Conservatives are set for an "election bloodbath" come July, as traction grows for Farage and Reform.

Anderson admitted that he is "not expecting any more defections" to the party, but he has "been in conversations" with Conservative candidates and his "phone has been on fire since Monday".
The Reform candidate revealed: "I've had lots of calls and text messages from some colleagues who are very concerned about losing their seats.
"If they're going to go down with the ship, that's what they're going to do."
Hitting out at the Conservative candidates that have remained with the party despite plummeting polling figures, Anderson fumed: "They see the writing on the wall, but they're not prepared to to make the plunge.

"It's a shame, really, because there's a lot of good Conservative MPs still in the party that deserve to be in Parliament after the next election. But the way things are going, they won't be there, sadly."
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Discussing the upcoming election in July, Anderson predicted that Rishi Sunak and the Conservatives will face an "election bloodbath".
Anderson told GB News: "The Conservative Party have let the country down, I think Number 10 has let the country down, and there's going to be a bit of a bloodbath come July. A political bloodbath.
"And sadly, some of my colleagues are going to be looking for work."
Highlighting the latest polls, Patrick stated that according to YouGov figures, Reform are now at 17 per cent, just two points behind the Conservatives and third behind Labour, who are currently polling at 40 per cent.

When asked if it is an "issue" for the party that they may only secure "two or three seats" in the election, Anderson denied any issues and said the "momentum for Reform is growing".
Anderson told Patrick: "The momentum is clearly with the Reform Party, it's going up and up.
"We've seen the Farage effect when he joined the race on Monday. We've gone up a couple of points in the polls, and he's suddenly made this election campaign exciting.
"This is great news for the Reform Party and it's great news for the country. And I can say it's livened up the debate during this general election campaign. And the country now has taken serious notice of the Reform Party."
