Reform UK MP Lee Anderson has furiously hit out at a Labour MP’s criticism of Nigel Farage.
Speaking on GB News, Mike Tapp, the Labour MP for Dover and Deal, branded the Reform Party leader an “opportunist” who is guilty of “fawning over” Vladimir Putin.
He said Nigel is “not a patriot” and has a history of not working in Britain’s best interests.
Lee joined Martin Daubney on the People’s Channel to respond, and he did not hold back in a scathing assessment of the Labour MP.

He said: “I’ve come across this politician before in a Westminster Hall debate when I challenged him on the illegal migration problem we’ve got.
“30,000 illegal migrants have come across the Channel since Labour come to power and gone right to his backyard.

Christopher Hope said Tapp deserves more respect

“The ramblings we heard were the ramblings of a desperate, unhinged individual. He hasn’t got a clue.
“What I want to do is get him on this show and I will go head to head with this clown of an MP.
“He’s up and down in the House of Commons on a regular basis spouting absolute nonsense. If you’re watching Mike Tapp, I would suggest putting an ‘ed’ at the end of your surname, because he’s utterly tapped.”
GB News’s Political Editor Christopher Hope jumped to Tapp’s defence, bluntly telling Lee: “No he’s not [tapped].”
He added: “He’s a former soldier. This guy has served three deployments, he’s a veteran.
“He deserves a bit more respect.”
It comes amid a raging debate about Britain’s role in the Ukraine conflict and whether Prime Minister Keir Starmer should be focusing more on matters closer to home.
Martin and Tapp clashed on the matter on GB News, with the former claiming the PM is having a torrid time defending Britain’s borders, meaning he should not be concerning himself with the struggles of others.
Tapp said Martin was making a “false equivalence” as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine could end up having a direct impact on Britain.
He argued ordinary Britons will inevitably feel an economic pinch from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, as they already have.
“We’ve seen the insecurities this war that this war has dealt on this country”, he said.
Martin said Britain, along with other leading European nations, has done “literally nothing” to try and stop the war.
The Labour MP said Ukraine has been able to continue fending Russia off bravely thanks to Britain being stalwart in its support of its efforts.
“It’s important we remain behind Ukraine but of course, we have to move towards peace”, he said.
GB News has approached Mike Tapp for comment.
