Lee Anderson has hit back at Sir Keir Starmer after he bet a journalist £50 that the Reform UK MP would lose his seat at the general election.
Speaking to GB News, the MP for Ashfield demanded that Starmer come to his constituency and stand against him. He bet the Labour leader £5000 that he would beat him.
Anderson said: "Here's an exclusive for you guys. If he's watching, old flip-flop. I'll bet him £5000 that he needs to come up to Ashfield and stand against me in Ashfield.
"I'll bet him five grand that I beat him. How do you like them apples."

When asked what he would do with the money, Anderson responded: "Where's it going to go? It'll go in my pocket. No, I'm joking. It'll go to one of my local charities.
"But here you are, Keir, come on and stand against me. Five grand, here's the bet, come and stand against me in Ashfield.
"If you beat me, I'll donate £5,000 to a charity of your choice, if i win, it'll go to a local male suicide support group."
Earlier this week, Starmer bet a Mirror journalist £50 that the Reform UK MP would lose his seat at the general election, claiming the MP for Ashfield has "no future".
This came after Anderson defected from the Tories to Reform UK.

New polling published yesterday put Richard Tice's party on its highest-ever support level, putting it just four points behind the Tories.
The survey, conducted by YouGov, put the Conservative Party on 19 per cent support, while Reform UK was on 15 per cent support, an increase of one point.
But Labour was miles ahead, with a 25-point lead on the Tories at 44 per cent support.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Anderson announced his defection to the party earlier this month, saying he is "prepared to gamble" on himself. Speaking at a press conference, the MP for Ashfield said he knows "how many people support Reform and what they have to say".
He added: "All I want is my country back."
His defection came weeks after he was suspended from the Tory party after claiming that "Islamists have got control of our country" and that Sadiq Khan has "given our capital city away to his mates."
