Furious Britons have launched a scathing attack on the Labour Government after it was announced that energy bills will increase by over £100 for the average household.
Ofgem's energy price cap will increase by 10 per cent from the start of October across England, Scotland and Wales, despite the regulator lowering the price cap twice this year.
Reacting to the announcement, angry Britons expressed their disgust with GB News, with one man declaring he is "ashamed" to see the move by Labour.
Gathering the views of billpayers in Nottingham, GB News reporter Will Hollis asked locals in their area for their verdict on the increase.

One resident said: "They target people that have gone to work all their lives. There are people on benefits who don't need to be on benefits, who are getting three or four times more than we are, the people who have worked.
"I had three jobs at one time when my kids were small."
Another local in the English town said people are "already struggling" and the latest increase is "bad news" for the working class.
She added: "We're already going through challenges with the economic living crisis, so it's not good news."

Speaking to a Labour voter, he told GB News that he is "ashamed" of Prime Minister Keir Starmer for "hitting the poorest people the most".

He fumed: "I am a staunch Labour voter, and I was ashamed to see a Labour Government hit the poorest people the most.
"I am partially sighted, deemed blind. And I don't think we'll get a penny."
In contrast, one middle-aged couple claimed that many pensioners "don't really need" the money they receive from private pensions, and instead spend the money on materialistic things.
They explained: "The Winter Fuel Payment for everyone I think was a bit ludicrous.

"I've heard of pensioners who've got private pensions who don't really need it, saying, oh, well, I just bought a new guitar. It's not really supposed to be for that."
Director of Age UK, Caroline Abrahams, says the change to winter fuel payments is "reckless and wrong", particularly in light of that price cap announcement.
In defence of the increase, Energy Secretary Ed Miliband insisted lower energy bills will come with "clean, homegrown power" across Britain.
He said: "The rise in the price cap is a direct result of the failed energy policy we inherited, which has left our country at the mercy of international gas markets controlled by dictators."
