A 75-year-old grandmother has come forward to confirm she was the "Duki hag" referenced in former Labour Minister Andrew Gwynne's leaked WhatsApp messages.
Elaine Cole revealed she was at the centre of a doorstep argument that later resulted in Gwynne's suspension from the Labour Party earlier this month.
The incident, which took place in Dukinfield in Greater Manchester, was first exposed in messages from the "Trigger Me Timbers" WhatsApp group.
Gwynne was sacked as a Health Minister and suspended as a Labour MP over sexist and racist comments made in the group chat.

Speaking to Manchester Evening News, Cole alleged that Gwynne swore at her and made offensive gestures during the confrontation.
"He could have had a nice conversation with me if he hadn't said: 'Don't listen to her, she's a liar'," she said.
Cole claimed the dispute escalated when she questioned him about having her voting information.
"Then he started giving me a load of abuse... He was effing and jeffing at me as he walked up the street. He was putting fingers up at me and I just said: Swivel on it," she recounted.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:The grandmother said she had to "shoot down that path" during the incident, noting: "I'm in my 70s. Even my son, who's 56, daren't call me a liar."
In the leaked WhatsApp exchange, Gwynne told Labour colleagues he was "never allowed to canvas" a particular road again after losing his "s**t" with what he called "some Duki hag."
The messages also revealed he claimed "her house was one of the s**tiest in the street."
The group chat contained other controversial comments from Gwynne, including jokes about killing a fellow MP with a pickaxe and suggesting a prominent community member should be bullied.

He also mockingly responded to a constituent's email about bin collections, writing: "Dear resident, f**k your bins. I'm re-elected and without your vote. Screw you."
Following his sacking on February 7, Gwynne issued a statement expressing deep regret for his "badly misjudged comments" and apologised for any offence caused.
He acknowledged he could "entirely understand" the decision to suspend him and hold an investigation.
The scandal widened to include Burnley MP Oliver Ryan, with the former Tameside Councillor also being suspended from Labour for his involvement in the group chat.

GETTYA Labour spokesman said that a thorough investigation had been launched as soon as the group was brought to their attention, with 11 Councillors also suspended.
Labour promised "swift action" against individuals found to have breached their standards.
Cole revealed she had wanted to report the incident to Labour at the time but did not know how to raise it with the party.
She has since switched her political allegiance and now supports Reform UK.
