Labour lord Clive Soley has claimed that Kemi Badenoch would pose a greater challenge to the Labour Party than Robert Jenrick in the Conservative leadership race.
Speaking on GB News, Soley stated: "I have to say, if you ask me who would be best for the Labour Party to win this election in the Tory party, it would be Robert Jenrick."
He added that while Jenrick might attract voters back from Reform, he wouldn't win over Labour or Liberal supporters.
Soley praised Badenoch's performance, noting: "I think Kemi Badenoch has clearly got more depth, her answers were much more detailed, much more complex."
