'It is all a distraction!' Kemi Badenoch refuses to rule out voting for Penny Mordaunt as Tory leader

Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch has refused to rule out voting for Penny Mordant as Conservative leader as she claimed that it is "all a distraction."

This comes as backbench Tory MPs want to replace Rishi Sunak with Penny Mordaunt before the general election.

Speaking to GB News she said: " We should not let disagreements turn into speculation about existential, existential issues of the party. And I think that it's really important that people like me continue to tell the public about the jobs that we are doing and how we are making their lives better."
