Keir Starmer and Volodymyr Zelensky are due to meet in Downing Street this afternoon, No10 has confirmed.
The surprise meeting comes just one day after the Ukranian President's very public spat with his American counterpart in the White House yesterday.
It is believed that the Ukrainian President arrived in the UK by plane earlier today when a plane emblazoned with the Ukrainian flag arrived at London Stansted.
The aircraft was received by a large convoy of black and grey 4x4s on the airport's runway.

As he arrived in the UK, the Ukrainian leader reiterated that America's support his country was "crucial" following a heated clash with the US President yesterday.
After the bilateral meeting, Zelensky reiterated his gratitude to America, writing on X: "I’m thankful to President Trump, Congress for their bipartisan support, and American people. Ukrainians have always appreciated this support, especially during these three years of full-scale invasion."
He continued: "America’s help has been vital in helping us survive, and I want to acknowledge that. Despite the tough dialogue, we remain strategic partners."
He later stressed that it was "crucial" to have America's support.

Taking to social media, Zelensky posted on X: "It’s crucial for us to have President Trump’s support. He wants to end the war, but no one wants peace more than we do.
"We are the ones living this war in Ukraine. It’s a fight for our freedom, for our very survival."
This morning, Reform leader Nigel Farage issued his response to the fiery row in the White House, adding that the "regrettable" row would leave Putin "feeling like the winner".
Farage posted: "The spat in the White House last night is regrettable and will make Putin feel like the winner.

"But this is not the end of the story, far from it. A peace deal is essential and Ukraine needs the right security guarantees."
Without US support, Zelensky admitted that the war would be "difficult" but declared that Ukraine cannot "lose our will, our freedom or our people".
During their meeting, Trump accused the war-time leader of "gambling with World War Three" while the minerals deal which would have secured further US support was all but torn to shreds in the Oval Office.
