Sir Keir Starmer has managed to dodge becoming Britain's worst Prime Minister - all thanks to one controversial Conservative leader - in yet another humiliating polling blow.
Starmer's popularity suffered a drastic collapse following the 2024 General Election - dropping below that of Boris Johnson within eight months of entering No10.
Fresh off a historic landslide victory last July, the Prime Minister was almost immediately hit with a number of awkward gaffes and scandals, which was later topped off with a disastrously-received October Budget.
As a result, Starmer has only been deemed a better Prime Minister than Liz Truss - who resigned after 45 days in No10.
He also registered a significantly lower popularity rating than either Tony Blair or Margaret Thatcher.
The Iron Lady outperformed the sitting Prime Minister, with a net advantage over Starmer of 44 per cent.
Blair's advantage was marginally higher, standing at 45 per cent.
Johnson, whose premiership was ultimately derailed by the partygate scandal, also proved to be more popular, opening up a three-point lead over Starmer.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:Previous polls conducted by YouGov found that the electorate view Starmer's fleet of ministers as "incompetent" and "dishonest".
However, only 10 per cent of Britons believe Truss was a better Prime Minister than Starmer.
More than two-in-five (43 per cent) had a more approving view of Starmer in a head-to-head match-up against Truss.
Despite six out of the last 10 opinion polls putting Reform UK ahead of Labour, Starmer retains more fans than Tory leader Kemi Badenoch.
A mere 17 per cent of Britons hold a favourable view of Badenoch, with 51 per cent harbouring an unfavourable opinion.
Starmer's overall rating gives the Prime Minister a favourability rating of 26 per cent, with 66 per cent disapproving of his time in No10.
Nigel Farage continues to make inroads with the electorate - 30 per cent of voters approve of the Reform UK leader and 60 per cent disapprove.
However, Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey recorded the best net rating at -5 per cent.
