Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has been urged to "wake up and listen" to new polling data, after new figures projected that Reform UK could soon be neck-and-neck with both major parties.
A new poll, conducted by Find Out Now and Electoral Calculus for PLMR, has concluded that the Conservatives are projected to secure 178 seats and Labour just 174 if a general election was to be held now, with Reform UK surging to a potential 175 seats.
Commenting on the poll results on GB News, political commentator Suzy Stride emphasised the importance of humility in politics and claimed many people have been "overlooked" by the Labour Party.
"What you have to be is really humble and listen to it," she told GB News. "The Democrats ultimately overlooked working class people and were punished for it.

"And we've got to think here as the Labour Party and just generally in politics, there are a section of people that do not feel listened to, that feel overlooked, that don't feel represented."
Stride cautioned against treating the poll as a definitive prediction of future electoral outcomes.
"Do I think this is the reality of what's going to happen in four years time? No, I do not. And I don't think anyone can say that because there's no scientific correlation," she said.
However, she stressed the poll should serve as a wake-up call to Starmer and the Labour Government.

PLMR founder Kevin Craig noted the unprecedented nature of the political landscape.
"A three-way split of the vote is practically unheard of in British politics and points to shifts in the political make-up of the United Kingdom," he said.
Craig suggested Labour could still recover, stating: "If the Labour Government succeeds in its mission to grow the economy and inject optimism into the economic fortunes of households, I have no doubt they can turn things around."

The poll of 5,700 British adults showed Reform UK leading with 27 per cent of voting intentions.
Labour followed at 24 per cent, with the Conservatives trailing at 21 per cent.
The survey employed the MRP method, which maps voter characteristics onto individual constituencies and is considered by many experts to be the most reliable way of predicting seat outcomes under Britain's first-past-the-post system.
The results suggest Reform UK could surge from their current five seats to 175, while Labour could plummet from 412 to 174 MPs.
