Tory MP Alexander Stafford claims current Rwanda bill is good enough to get flights off the ground
Leader of the House Penny Mordaunt has confirmed that the government's Rwanda bill will return to the Commons next week.
A debate on the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill will take place over two days, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tory MP Alexander Stafford told GBNews: "I'll be looking out all amendments because what I want to do is fundamentally get those planes off the ground
"I do think the bill in front of us is very good, a very strong one, the strongest piece of immigration legislation ever put down in this country.
"I do think this will do what it says in the tin, get those flights off. And that's what we need."
