Residents in Glasgow have backed a new move by the Holyrood Committee to enable MSPs to be sacked by their constituents.
GB News reporter Tony McGuire spoke to locals where they threw their support behind the Recall and Removal of Members Bill, which allows a recall petition to be called if the MSP in question has been sentenced to jail or suspended from the Parliament for 10 sitting days.
Speaking to GB News, Glaswegians joked that they had "a few in mind" who they would opt to be removed as MSPs.
Currently, MSPs can only lose their seats if they are sentenced to 12 months or more in prison.

One Glasgow resident told Tony: "I think we should be able to make it easier so that we can fire our politicians.
"I think that is a good idea because I think they need fire a lot of them."
When pressed by Tony on who she would fire, she said: "I wouldn't name and shame them, but there's quite a few that could do with it!"
Criticising the current Scottish legislation, one Glaswegian man claimed that the 12-month period is "too long", and to be given jail time means the MSP in question must have "done something serious".

He told GB News: "12 months seems far too long a time for an MP to be out of the system and representing the people that have voted for them.
"And it also seems to me if they are in jail for 12 months, then they've done something fairly serious and I don't want them to represent me at that point."
Offering a defence of MSPs, one Scottish local suggested that the errors of politicians should be considered on a "case by case" basis.
She said: "As far as Scotland goes, the office of the Scottish Law is different. On the whole, I feel that each case should be taken on its own merit."

Expressing her fury for MSPs, one lady told Tony that politicians "should not be allowed a year" and "one or two MPs" come to mind as to who she would remove immediately.
She asked: "Why should there be allowed a year? Nobody else gets a year, do they?"
The resident added: "There's certainly one or two that have just come to mind, but I can't name them."
